Project Structure Overview


All content for the Low Poly Shooter Pack is stored inside these three main folders:

/InfimaGames/LowPolyShooterPack/
/InfimaGames/AnimatedLowPolyWeapons
/InfimaGames/Utilities

The AnimatedLowPolyWeapons folder contains all the art related content for the weapons and characters, such as:

  • Character animations

  • Weapon meshes

  • Weapon attachments

  • Weapon materials and textures

  • Demo blueprints


The LowPolyShooterPack folder contains the core functionality, such as:

  • Blueprints

  • Animation blueprints

  • Data Tables & Data Assets

  • Settings

  • Widget Blueprints


The Utilities folder contains general content used across the asset, such as:

  • The UE Mannequin files

  • Fonts

  • Prompt icons (for example keyboard & mouse inputs)


Below is an overview of all important folders and what they contain.


📁 1. AnimatedLowPolyWeapons/

Contains most art related content: character animations, weapon meshes and animations, materials, textures, etc.


▶️ 1.1 Art/

Contains all artistic content related to the weapons and character animations.

Characters/

  • Animations/ – Character animations used for weapon handling.

    • Base/ – Base third person animations, such as jog and walk.

    • Common/ – Non weapon specific animations, such as idle loops and transitions.

    • WeaponType/ - Contains all weapon specific character animations, such as reloads, inspect, fire, etc.


Demo/

Assets used in the animated weapons showcase/demo maps. Visual-only; not part of the core gameplay systems.


Weapons/

Contains all core weapon assets:

_Common/

Shared attachments, casings, and skin systems.

  • Attachments/

    • Materials

    • Models

    • Textures

  • Casings/

    • Meshes & textures for ejected shells

  • Skins/

    • Material presets (Basic, BrushedSteel, Camo → Digital/Gradient/Skulls/etc.)

    • Matching texture sets

Weapon Categories

Each contains its own animations, meshes, and textures:

  • ARs

  • Handguns

  • Launchers

  • Melee

  • Shotguns

  • SMGs

  • Snipers


▶️ 1.2 Core/

Gameplay-related supporting assets for animated weapons:

  • Demo Animation Blueprints & Blueprints

This folder is separate from the main gameplay systems found in /LowPolyShooterPack/Core/. It is mainly meant to be used for demonstrational purposes.


▶️ 1.3 Maps/

Demo maps for previewing the animations and other art related content. It is mainly meant to be used for demonstrational purposes.


▶️ 1.4 Materials/

Contains the main Material used by all weapons material instances, and the Material Function used to control the first person weapon field of view.


📁 2. LowPolyShooterPack/

This is the main gameplay folder for the Low Poly Shooter Pack. All systems, AI, weapons, player logic, VFX, UI, maps, live here.

Contains characters, skins, textures, VFX, environment props, and icons.

Characters/

  • Animations – First-person player animations

  • Default – Contains character related art, such as FP/TP meshes, materials, and textures.

Effects/

Muzzle flashes, explosions, particles, and impact effects.

Environment/

World-building assets such as:

  • Buildings

  • Nature props

  • Target objects

  • Fences, tables, planks, shutters, sandbags, etc.

Icons/

UI icons for:

  • Attachments

  • Casings

  • Grenades

  • Crosshair

  • Menus

  • Weapons

  • Projectiles


▶️ 2.2 Audio/

All sound effects for characters and weapons.

Cues/

Sound cue assets.

WAV/

Raw audio files.


▶️ 2.3 Core/

This is the heart of the Low Poly Shooter Pack, nearly every major gameplay system lives here.


▶️ AI/

Enemy behavior:

  • Pathfinding

  • Roaming

  • Chasing

  • Attacking

  • Perception


▶️ Characters/

Handles the player and third-person character systems:

  • Movement

  • Camera

  • Input

  • Animation

  • Damage

  • Stamina

  • Footsteps


▶️ Damageables/

Damage logic used by AI enemies, environment props, and more.


▶️ GameModes/

Includes the default demo game modes and base classes.


▶️ Weapons/

The core weapon systems:

  • Main Weapon Animation Blueprint

  • Attachment Blueprints - Scopes, silencers, lasers, etc.

  • Projectile Blueprints


▶️ Other Systems/

All part of the Core folder:

  • Health

  • Interaction

  • Inventory

  • Notifies

  • Props

  • Surfaces

  • VFX

  • Input


▶️ 2.4 Maps/

Contains all demo levels, and specific art related content used in them.


▶️ 2.5 Useable/

Gameplay-related objects and components that can be used directly:

  • Ammunition

  • Casings

  • Character bases

  • Damageables

  • Projectiles

  • Showcase props

  • Weapon components


📁 3. Utilities/

Helpful tools and UX assets used throughout the shooter pack.

Contains the Mannequin rig and UI icons for inputs/prompts:

  • Default UE Mannequin

    • Skeletal Meshes

    • Textures

  • Prompt/Input Icons - These are used for tutorials, key bind hints, and UI elements.
